Based on "Queen of Knives," a poem by Neil Gaiman.

"The conjurer took a kitchen knife, pushed it slowly through the red hatbox. And then the singing stopped."

A child visits her grandparents. They go to a magic show. The grandmother is called up to the stage to be vanished... Queen of Knives is an evening-length dance piece that examines love, loss, and regret through the mysterious lens of magic.
