SUPPORT: HELP US TURN INTO A LION
We need your help to bring Your Sister Turns Into a Lion to the stage.
We are trying to raise $10,000 by December 1st to pay our wonderful collaborators and cover other important performance costs.
Please consider supporting us with a tax-deductible donation of any amount that you can give. Donations of any size are enormously appreciated.
A DONATION OF ANY AMOUNT HELPS US BRING LION TO THE THEATER.
$2,000 covers the stipend of one of our amazing dancer collaborators
$1,000 allows us to hire a stage manager who will keep the performances running smoothly
$4,000 covers half the cost of renting and staffing the theater (the other half is subsidized by ODC Theater)
$500 allows us to hire a professional videographer to film one performance (we use these videos when we apply for grant funding)
$200 covers the stipend of one musician for one performance
$50 covers extra lighting supplies to produce theatrical effects
HOW TO DONATE:
Checks: Make checks payable to our fiscal sponsor, "Dancers' Group" (noting "Sharp & Fine" on the memo line) and mail to: Sharp & Fine, 641 Central Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94117.
Online: To donate online please visit our donation page via Dancers' Group.
Corporate Matching: These are like magic. They double or triple the donations we get from our supporters. Check with your employer to see if they will match your donation.
what is a fiscal sponsor?
Sharp & Fine is fiscally sponsored by Dancers' Group. Our affiliation with Dancers' Group allows people to make tax-deductible donations to support Sharp & Fine and allows us to apply for grants. (Dancers' Group is also an incredibly awesome organization that does wonderful things for the Bay Area dance world. They've been around since 1982 and their staff help us navigate the nitty-gritty business side of making art with great patience.)
A HEARTFELT THANK YOU
We extend enormous thanks to the people who support our work. It is an absolute honor to have their belief and enthusiasm.
Sharp & Fine gratefully acknowledges the support of the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and our generous individual donors. The creation of Your Sister Turns Into a Lion is made possible in part by the Rainin Opportunity Fund at ODC Theater and the Dancers' Group CA$H grant.
