Weekend Workshop with Sharp & Fine
May 12 & 13, 2018
10am-3pm each day

Location: San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, 301 Eighth Street, San Francisco, CA 94103

Dancers will spend ten hours immersed in Sharp & Fine’s process of collaborative exploration, which brings together physically exuberant and technically rigorous phrase work with playful improvisation, spoken text, and attention to dramatic narrative. We will dance hard, use words, and challenge our imaginations.

Taught by S&F co-directors Megan & Shannon Kurashige, with dancers Sonja Dale, Sarah Woods-LaDue, Chelsea Reichert, and guest acting/vocal coach Jack Nicolaus.

S&F is a San Francisco-based contemporary dance company founded in 2011 by sisters Megan and Shannon Kurashige. We create narrative performance work based on physically exuberant choreography, emotionally nuanced text, live music, and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
